I am writing a book about Liverpool’s promotion campaign of 1961-62 and am currently looking at two games (v Huddersfield (a) 18/11/61 and v Scunthorpe (a) 20/1/62). The referee for both was a Mr RTE Langdale from Darlington and I would be grateful if you could obtain for me from your records Mr Langdale’s first name.

    I much appreciate your assistance

    Regards

    John Kennedy
