The Darlington Referees’ Society, founded in 1920, supports and assists local football referees within Darlington and the North East.

The Society is affiliated to both the Referees’ Association and Durham County Referees’ Association and supports football referees within the Darlington area.

If you are a registered referee and you would like to join the Darlington Society or if you wish to become a football referee please use the links within this website for further information.

The Society meets at 7.30pm on the third Monday each month at:

Darlington JUC Social Club
Gladstone Street
Co Durham

Meetings are informal; we have lively discussions about refereeing and football in general, invite guest speakers or arrange social evenings for members and guests.

Registered referees and members of other local Societies are welcome to attend our meetings. For further information please contact Secretary, George Cornforth.
